The Limits to Growth

The Club of Rome's 1972 report The Limits to Growth argued that infinite economic expansion on a finite planet is not possible, a warning referenced twice in this context.
The Club of Rome's 1972 report, cited twice: first as "publishing 'The Limits to Growth,' daring to suggest that infinite economic expansion on a finite planet might just be impossible", and again later: "in 'The Limits to Growth' the alarm sounded about infinite expansion."
