How do I start?
With the free course, Fundamentals of Symbiotic Design. It takes about thirty minutes: create an account, open the course and enroll.
How do I join a paid course?
Apply for a place. The application takes about ten minutes. Dr. Raineri reads every application, and you hear back by email.
What do the paid courses cost?
Prices are still being set. Apply for a place, and we will talk about it when we answer your application.
Can I ask for a scholarship?
Yes. The application form lets you say that you are applying for one. The Scholarships page explains why the Academy offers them.
What is the difference between a method course and a Framework course?
A method course addresses tame problems that hold still: ten units over six weeks on a live project of your own, ending with a one-to-one video call. A Framework course addresses wicked problems that move while you work: sixteen hours on a new live project, ending with two hours of one-to-one video calls.
Which course is for me?
There is a path for architects, one for designers and one for non-designers, each with a method course and a Framework course. Start with the free course; the pages 4 Architects, 4 Designers and 4 Non-Designers explain the rest.
Do I get a certificate?
Courses that award a certificate issue it when you complete them. Anyone can check it on Verify a certificate, with the code printed on it.
Is the site in Spanish?
Yes. Every page is in English and in Spanish. Use EN and ES at the top of the page.
How do I reach the Academy?
