You Must Make Your Death Public collects the talks and contributions presented at Aliens & Anorexia: A Chris Kraus Symposium, held at the Royal College of Art in London in March 2013. Since her first book, I Love Dick (1997), Chris Kraus has written across fiction, art criticism, political commentary, continental philosophy, feminism and queer theory, and this collection engages with questions her work raises, among them where the line falls between private life and public practice, and how the boundaries between artwork and critic, subject and object, or fiction and criticism keep blurring.
