The Symbiotic Design Academy specializes in delivering cutting-edge online courses in sustainable design. These courses cater to designers and professionals from diverse fields worldwide. What sets SDA apart is its unique teaching approach, developed by Dr. Gonzalo Raineri, a experienced figure in the field of sustainable design. The methodology, known as the Symbiotic Design Framework, is the culmination of six years of intensive research at the intersection of design and sustainability.
The Symbiotic Design Framework is rooted in a profound synthesis of design principles and biological concepts, offering a holistic perspective on the essential components needed to ensure environmentally-friendly outcomes. At the core of this framework lies the identification and management of various components, with a particular focus on the relationships involved in the design process. By providing a structured guide for observation and handling of these components, we ensure that no critical aspects are overlooked during the design process. These overlooked areas often lead to environmental harm and social injustices, echoing across the spectrum of equity.
Since the Framework went through a deep overhaul process when writing our book, we decided to stops running the old courses, and we are developing new ones
