Nuevos Creativos Chilenos, Volumen 1: Diseño de Productos surveys ten years of Chilean product design from 2005 onward, presenting the work of 36 designers and design studios grouped as designers working in Chile, Chilean designers abroad, and a new generation.
Nuevos Creativos Chilenos, Volumen 1: Diseño de Productos was directed by Juan Pablo Fuentes and edited by Catalina Plaza, published in its first edition in December 2015 with funding from FONDART 2015 and sponsorship from Arauco and Universidad del Desarrollo. The book surveys what Chilean product designers and design studios produced over the ten years from 2005, presenting 36 designers grouped into three categories: designers working within Chile, Chilean designers working abroad, and an emerging new generation. It includes texts by the Spanish designer, entrepreneur and FAD Barcelona president Nani Marquina, and by the Argentine design journalist Luján Cambariere.
