Introducción a la teoría de sistemas, published by Universidad Iberoamericana in Mexico City in 1996, presents lectures given by the German sociologist Niklas Luhmann on general and sociological systems theory, compiled and published by Javier Torres Nafarrate, who also translated much of Luhmann's work into Spanish. In the lectures, Luhmann explains the key ideas of his systems theory and illustrates them with examples, offering an entry point into an approach that Torres Nafarrate has described as among the most advanced architectures for understanding how social systems evolve.
