Harry Rand's Hundertwasser is a Taschen monograph on the Austrian artist and architect Friedensreich Hundertwasser, tracing his work across painting and architecture with material drawn from the author's own interviews with Hundertwasser before his death.
Hundertwasser, by Harry Rand, is a heavily illustrated monograph on the Austrian artist and architect Friedensreich Hundertwasser (1928 to 2000), published by Taschen in close collaboration with the Hundertwasser Foundation. Because Hundertwasser's work is inseparable from his biography and his political actions, the book builds a portrait of the artist through his own voice, drawing on excerpts from lengthy conversations Rand held with him before his death. It documents his output across media, from painting through to architectural projects such as schools and power stations, as well as more eclectic work including stamp designs. Credits: Rand, H.
