Fundamentos del diseño collects three of Wucius Wong's classic texts on two- and three-dimensional design principles into a single reference work, covering abstract form, visual vocabulary and the construction of three-dimensional objects from flat and linear materials.
Fundamentos del diseño brings together, in one volume, three of Wucius Wong's foundational texts on design principles, originally published in English between 1972 and 1988: Principles of Two-Dimensional Design, Principles of Two-Dimensional Form and Principles of Three-Dimensional Design. The first part sets out the basic ideas of flat, abstract form; the second develops the visual vocabulary with more emphasis on representational aspects; and the third addresses how flat and linear materials are used to build three-dimensional objects. The book has become a standard reference in design education in the Spanish-speaking world.
