Como nacen los objetos is the Spanish edition of Bruno Munari's Da cosa nasce cosa ("from one thing another is born"), in which the designer and teacher sets down, step by step, the working method he developed and taught over decades. Munari treats design not as a matter of inspiration but as a sequence of definable stages: identifying and defining the problem, breaking it into its components, researching materials and technologies, generating and testing models, and arriving at a solution that can be verified against the original problem. He illustrates each stage with abundant drawings and real projects spanning furniture, exhibition spaces, landscape design, industrial products and children's publishing, using the concrete cases to show how a disciplined method still leaves room for invention.
