This article, whose fuller title is "Una clasificación y puesta en valor de 'otros' diseños," proposes a way of classifying and giving recognition to design work that falls outside conventional, mainstream categories of design.
Ferrarese and Bernatene's article was published by the Facultad de Bellas Artes of the Universidad Nacional de La Plata in the journal Revista Arte & Investigación, and is used as required reading in the university's Industrial Design History course. Based on its fuller title, "Una clasificación y puesta en valor de 'otros' diseños" ("A classification and valuing of 'other' designs"), the article proposes a framework for identifying and giving proper recognition to design work that sits outside conventional or mainstream design categories.
