Becoming Regenerative (2024 to 2027), led by the Institute for Creative Futures at Loughborough University London with the Royal College of Art, studies new regenerative innovations and startups, with a focus on the UK, the Netherlands and Japan. The postdoctoral researcher will synthesise the project's qualitative data, support design research and co-design workshops, contribute to policy reports and publications, and help with dissemination events. Supervision is by Dr Ida Telalbasic (Principal Investigator, Loughborough University London) and Dr Delfina Fantini van Ditmar (Co-Investigator, Royal College of Art).
A PhD in a relevant discipline is essential, with strong research, analytical and writing skills; knowledge of regenerative design, speculative approaches, systems change, policy research or data visualisation is valued. The post is full time for nine months (part time may be considered), based at Loughborough University London with hybrid working, grade 6, with no visa sponsorship. Application deadline: 12 October 2026; interviews in the week of 19 October 2026. Early expressions of interest with a CV can be sent to hello@becoming-regenerative.org.
