This is the catalog for the 2019 exhibition "Joaquín Torres García. Obra viva," held at the Centro Cultural La Moneda in Santiago, Chile, from April to July 2019. The exhibition, a collaboration between the Centro Cultural La Moneda and the Museo Torres García in Montevideo, presented more than 300 works by the Uruguayan painter, educator and theorist Joaquín Torres García, spanning oil paintings, works on paper, pieces on cardboard and wood, articulated toys, and publications, tracing his life and artistic legacy. The catalog was published to accompany the exhibition and includes a facsimile of Torres García's 1938 book "Tradición del hombre abstracto," which sets out his Constructivist doctrine.
