Marko Brajovic's studio shares ten years of projects in which nature works as metaphor and design strategy, published as 'In Nature We Trust: Atelier Marko Brajovic, Grown in Brazil 2006-2016.' Structured around a manifesto, a strategic archive and selected works, it is aimed at architects and designers interested in biomimetics.
Brajovic offers nature-inspired tools for innovation and argues design is shifting from mechanical hierarchy toward organic, decentralised systems. A biomimetic read on the SDF's relationship with its Environment, pointed by the Sustainability motto toward what design becomes next.
The book grew out of Atelier Marko Brajovic's wish to share the inspirations, concepts and creative process behind ten years of its work, focused on projects where nature plays a role, from suggestive metaphor to design strategy. Its full title, 'In Nature We Trust: Atelier Marko Brajovic, Grown in Brazil 2006-2016,' reflects its structure across three parts: a manifesto, a strategic archive, and selected works from that decade. Published in São Paulo and aimed at architects, designers and institutions interested in biomimetics, it is built around images, diagrams and project drawings as much as text.
