DesignUp26, the Indian festival for design, tech, and product, runs 1 to 4 October 2026 at the Sheraton Grand in Bengaluru under the theme Design At Cross-Roads. It asks how designers should respond as generative AI, democratised tools, and shifting market expectations unsettle the role, whether by deepening craft or expanding into technology, business, and human-centred intersections. In the framework terms this is a conversation happening at design Frontier, the permeable interface where the discipline core logic meets a changing environment.
The four-day programme features keynotes, panels, workshops, and networking across design, technology, and product disciplines, convening product and design leaders around community resilience as roles compress and around finding clarity amid industry transformation. Much of that community works in interaction, product, and experience design, the third-order territory of shaping behaviours and processes over time.
Passes range from student to premium tiers, several of which sell out early, with some releases dated later in the year. The venue is the Sheraton Grand Bengaluru Whitefield Hotel and Convention Center.
