In alignment with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals and the global urgency to accelerate sustainability transitions, we are pleased to welcome you to the 13th LCM. Centered on the theme "Positive impacts and innovations as catalysts for change – How to measure and manage sustainability transition," the conference will bring together leading international decision-makers from research and education, industry, NGOs and public institutions to drive forward life cycle-based solutions for a more sustainable future. LCM 2027 takes place 14 to 16 September 2027 at Finlandia Hall in Helsinki. LCM conferences are known internationally for turning life cycle approaches into practical strategic and operational decisions, bridging research, education, business, and policy. The 2027 edition emphasises positive impacts and innovation as levers for the sustainability transition, and includes a call for abstracts alongside its main programme. The framework treats life-cycle thinking as standard practice rather than an afterthought, systematically weighing environmental and social impacts from raw material extraction through manufacturing, use, and end of life.
