Bioclimatic Tool

You want to build by bioclimatic principles, and you do not know where to begin. The climate tables say little about your site, and the advice you find was written for somewhere else.

The Bioclimatic Tool starts from the place. You set a location and it describes the climate there, from PVGIS's typical year and the comfort range of the European standard EN 16798-1. Then it takes you through twelve steps, from the climate and the site to the people, the plan, the envelope, daylight and shading. At each step it shows your options and proposes one, and you decide. You end with a brief for that place, with the reasons behind each decision.
