A journal of the Department of Architecture, Faculty of Architecture and Urbanism, Universidad de Chile, founded in 1990 and published twice a year, in June and December. It publishes original research on the culture, theory and practice of architectural design, with an Ibero-American emphasis and an international outlook. It is free to read, charges authors nothing, uses double-blind peer review and accepts articles in Spanish, Portuguese and English.
Revista de Arquitectura is a scientific publication, with an Ibero-American emphasis and open to the international field, whose aim is to publish high-quality original articles on the culture, theory and projectual practice of architecture. It belongs to the Facultad de Arquitectura y Urbanismo of the Universidad de Chile, is attached to the Departamento de Arquitectura and was founded in 1990. Revista de Arquitectura welcomes a range of unpublished contributions from the field of architecture, in integration and dialogue with its multiple dimensions, scales and disciplines, through an open and permanent call aimed at researchers, academics, professionals and students, providing a forum for communication, discussion, interaction and exchange. Contents are selected according to an editorial policy that fundamentally considers quality, originality, thematic relevance and methodological rigour, particularly highlighting those resulting from exploratory and innovative academic research. Revista de Arquitectura is published every six months, releasing its issues in June and December of each year.
