Loggia, Arquitectura & Restauración
Founded in 1996 and published by the Universitat Politècnica de València, this journal covers architectural restoration and the related fields of pictorial, sculptural and archaeological restoration. It publishes research on the works, theories, methods and techniques used to intervene in historic architectural heritage, as theoretical, technical and restored-work articles. It publishes continuously, uses double-blind peer review, is free to read and charges authors nothing.
The journal Loggia, Arquitectura & Restauración, devoted to the discipline of architectural restoration and its related fields of pictorial, sculptural and archaeological restoration, has been published since 1996. The journal brings together research articles related to works, theories, methodologies and techniques of intervention in historic architectural heritage, with the aim of disseminating its conservation and restoration in a systematic and periodic way, as well as creating a forum in which to present those articles and works that represent a contribution to the field of conservation and restoration. The journal aims to have a scientific, critical and informative character and, to that end, its structure has four sections: theoretical articles, articles on restored works, technical articles and cultural calendar. It is intended for architects, technical architects, building surveyors, restorers, historians, art historians, philosophers and all kinds of craftspeople, technicians and construction and restoration companies.
