An interdisciplinary design journal published by Inderscience Publishers four times a year, first as an electronic journal and now also in print. It brings together the social sciences and design fields such as engineering, architecture, industrial design and planning, with the human aspects of design as its central issue, and publishes original and review papers, case studies, conference reports, book reviews and commentaries. It is a subscription journal with an open access option.
JDR is an interdisciplinary journal, emphasising human aspects as a central issue of design through integrative studies of social sciences and design disciplines. Originally published as an electronic journal publishing articles including multimedia applications and hence allowing visual knowledge transfer, it is now also available in print.
