i2 Investigación e Innovación en Arquitectura y Territorio

A journal of the Department of Graphic Expression, Composition and Projects at the Universidad de Alicante, published twice a year, in January and July. It publishes scholarly work on contemporary culture and artistic expression in relation to architecture and territory, from architecture, philosophy, fine arts, social sciences and other fields, mainly in Spain, Europe and Latin America. It is free to read, charges no fees and uses blind peer review for research articles.

i2 Investigación e Innovación en Arquitectura y Territorio aims to publish scholarly work on contemporary culture and artistic expression in relation to architecture and territory. It accepts disciplinary contributions from the fields of architecture, philosophy, fine arts, social sciences, anthropology, pedagogy or any discipline that sets out a relationship between space, place and the events that take place in our present time. The topics address discourses with cross-cutting debates on artistic, cultural, literary, cinematic, social or philosophical expression, whose aims are to take part in and promote those peripheral arguments that have not been included in contemporary production, in order to recognise the diversity of the most current thinking according to new entities, new subjects, new genders, new leading roles... We work mainly in the context of Spain, Europe and Latin America, without ruling out contributions from other geographical areas. […]
