A journal of urban and regional studies published three times a year by the Instituto de Estudios Urbanos y Territoriales (IEUT) of the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile since 1970. It publishes original empirical research on territory relevant to Ibero-American countries; it does not accept purely theoretical essays or studies of purely local scope. It is free to read and to publish in, uses double-blind peer review and accepts only Spanish and Portuguese.
EURE, Revista Latinoamericana de Estudios Urbano Regionales, is a publication of the Instituto de Estudios Urbanos y Territoriales (IEUT) of the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile (PUC), specialising in urban and regional studies, which has published original and cutting-edge research work since 1970 on territory in all its dimensions, giving priority to interdisciplinary research of interest and with high impact. EURE accepts work that considers topics relevant to Ibero-American countries and explicitly adopts a territorial dimension, offering new contributions to theoretical discussion through empirical work and the discussion of its results. EURE does not accept essays that offer only a theoretical discussion or that present results without analysing them, nor does it accept work of exclusively local scope. Manuscripts received undergo a preliminary review and, if they pass it, are evaluated by academic peers through a double-blind system.
