An annual architecture journal founded in 2000 at the School of Architecture of the Universidad de Santiago de Chile. It accepts academic work on architectural discourse, art, technique, design and urbanism in their historical, social and cultural context, from Chile and other countries. It is free to read, charges authors no fees, uses double-blind peer review and accepts articles in Spanish, English and occasionally Italian.
ARTEOFICIO is a double-blind peer-reviewed journal, whose origin lies in the Escuela de Arquitectura of the Universidad de Santiago de Chile, in the year 2000. The journal is open to any academic contribution that addresses architectural discourse, on art, technique and design and urbanism and their historical, social and cultural context. It supports the research and teaching of architecture, providing a public forum for the dissemination of the discipline. Based in Santiago, Chile, but not limited to this country, the journal serves architectural historians, designers and academics in giving the discipline visibility among the general public, encouraging inclusive, transnational, interdisciplinary and multicultural approaches to the built environment.
