Arqueología de la Arquitectura

Arqueología de la Arquitectura is a scientific journal, published electronically, whose main aim is to promote, host and disseminate archaeological studies of buildings, regardless of their period, type and function. It addresses theoretical, methodological, interpretive and practical aspects of the archaeological discipline applied to the analysis, documentation, interpretation, conservation, restoration, enhancement and public outreach of architecture; of its contribution to knowledge of the history of architecture and of the related technical, social and historical contexts; of its relationship with other human, Earth and experimental sciences (for example, archaeometry and geology, among others); of its potential as a tool for knowledge and discussion; and of its use by professionals in archaeology, architecture, restoration, engineering and art history, among other heritage specialists. In short, it aims to become an instrument of permanent renewal and reflection on the materiality of present and past architectures.
