ARENA Journal of Architectural Research (AJAR)
An online journal set up by ARENA, the Architectural Research European Network Association, on a platform provided by Ubiquity Press. It publishes design research and scholarly research in architecture, organised in four sections (Design, Technology, Practice and Humanities), and welcomes essays from doctoral students and younger researchers as well as established architects and academics. It is free to read, uses double-blind peer review for all contributions and accepts articles in English.
ARENA Journal of Architectural Research (AJAR ) is a online Open Access peer-reviewed journal for all kinds of design research and scholarly research within the architectural field, and has been set up by the ARENA network. The journal is freely available and published under a CC-BY licence. It welcomes the submission of essays by doctoral students and younger researchers as well as by established architects and academics. Content for the journal is organised under 4 sections: Design Technology Practice Humanities The journal operates a rolling process for uploading individual essays as they are approved, mixed with special themed collections by invited guest editors. All contributions to AJAR are fully peer-reviewed through the 'double-blind' refereeing system, with this applying equally to design research material. ARENA ( Architectural Research European Network Association ) is an open, inclusive and comprehensive network for architectural researchers across Europe. It offers a shared platform that aims to promote, support, develop and disseminate high-quality research in all fields of architecture in the widest sense.
