AR / Architecture Research

A scholarly journal published once a year by the University of Ljubljana Faculty of Architecture, with each edition built around a theme. Each issue combines writing by invited authors with essays selected through a two-tier blind review, and relevance to the theme is important for acceptance. Essays are submitted and published in English.

AR/Architecture Research is a scholarly journal published yearly by the University of Ljubljana Faculty of Architecture. AR is a contemporaneous platform for both explorative writing and research at the highest level of creative scholarship. The journal's format presents diverse correspondences between some of the most creative thinkers in architecture and associated fields. Each thematic edition includes original writings from invited authors combined with peer-reviewed essays selected from a two-tier blind review process. Essays are submitted and published in English. Each issue of AR presents a theme; relevance to the theme is important for acceptance. The editors take into consideration critical, inventive and timely content that creatively addresses the edition's theme with a strong sense of originality. The integrity of the content published in AR is an essential objective and should be ensured during the review, editing and publishing process.
