A journal of the Centre de Política del Sòl i Valoracions (CPSV) at the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya, published three times a year. It publishes advanced research on architectural and urban heritage, urban history, urban and territorial studies, city and territorial planning, land and housing policy, and transport and urban mobility. It is free to read, accepts articles in Spanish and uses double-blind external peer review.
Focus and scope The journal ACE is aimed at disseminating, in specialised media (universities, research centres, R&D departments of companies, etc.), advanced research in the following fields of research: Architectural and Urban Heritage: valorisation, restoration, rehabilitation of and intervention in architectural and urban heritage. Urban History: analysis of the historical formation of the City and of its physical, economic, social and cultural transformations. Evolution of the principles and methods of urban planning and of urban and territorial management. Urban and Territorial Studies: analysis of urban and territorial structure. System of cities and of metropolitan areas. Models and morphologies of urbanisation and building, etc. Planning and Management of the City and the Territory: territorial and urban planning, urban development management and implementation of plans.
