The Power of Collaboration: How Social Innovation Solves Intractable Problems (and What It Teaches Planners and Policy Makers).
This lecture will address pressing global issues such as providing a dignified life to billions, caring for our planet, and supporting aging populations in fragmented societies. Professor Manzini will explore how social innovation can overcome seemingly intractable problems through collaborative solutions that integrate personal and community interests. The discussion will highlight the role of expert designers and policy makers in fostering sustainable, collaborative choices.
