Welcome to Symbiotic Design Academy (“we”, “us”, “our”). These Terms & Conditions govern your use of our website www.symbioticdesignacademy.com, any related services, and all content provided through them. By using our platform, you agree to these Terms.

Governing Law: Dutch law. Disputes will first be addressed amicably, then through mediation/arbitration, and finally by the courts of Eindhoven, The Netherlands.

2. Our Services

We offer online educational content including (but not limited to) self-paced courses, live webinars, recorded replays, coaching sessions, congresses, talks, bundles, tracks, books, and other digital materials.
We may also sell physical educational products and materials. In the future, we may host content from third-party instructors.
We issue digital certificates for completed courses.
Services may evolve over time — these Terms will always apply to any new services we offer.

3. Prices, VAT & Payments

• Prices are shown inclusive of VAT where applicable.
• VAT is charged to EU customers based on their country of residence.
• Non-EU customers are generally not charged VAT, but we may need to verify location.
• We accept payments in Euro (€) via Stripe, PayPal, Mollie, credit card, iDEAL, and bank transfer.
• Discounts, promotions, and coupons may be offered. Group discounts apply only to the person who leaves, no recalculation for others.
• All payments are processed securely by our payment partners. We do not store your payment details.

4. Refunds & Cancellations

We follow EU consumer protection laws:

• Digital Courses: Refund requests accepted within 14 days only if less than the specified completion threshold has been accessed and no certificate has been downloaded. By starting a digital course, you agree to waive your 14-day withdrawal right.
• Digital Downloads: No refunds once access is granted.
• Live Events: Full refund if cancelled 5 or more days before the event. No refund within 5 days of the event.
• Physical Goods: Refunds and returns handled per Dutch/EU law (14-day right of withdrawal).
• Refunds may be partial if only part of a service is used (pro-rata).

5. Access Duration

Access to purchased digital content lasts as long as the Academy operates, with a guaranteed minimum of 1 year from purchase.

6. User Conduct

You agree not to:

• Share your login details.
• Record, copy, or redistribute our content.
• Use AI tools, bots, or automation to scrape or copy content.
• Harass or abuse others in our community spaces.
  Users must be 16+. Parental consent is required for minors under 18.

7. Intellectual Property

All course materials, videos, graphics, and text are owned by Symbiotic Design Academy or licensed from partners. You receive a personal, non-transferable license to access purchased content. Downloadable materials may be used for personal learning only.
No screenshots, screen recordings, or sharing without our written permission.

8. Disclaimers & Liability

• Content is for educational purposes only and does not constitute professional advice.
• We are not responsible for results based on how you apply our content.
• We are not liable for downtime, outages, or events beyond our control (force majeure).
• Our liability is limited to the amount you paid for the affected service.

9. Third-Party Tools

We may use Zoom and Google Analytics to provide services and understand our audience. See our Privacy and Cookie Policies for details.

10. Affiliate & Referral Programs

We may run affiliate programs in the future. Full terms will be published separately.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will be announced on our website with at least [X days] notice before taking effect. Continued use after changes means you accept them.
