Design Fiction

Within Design Ethnoevolution's 'Variation' mechanism, the book states: "Methodologies for future exploration (Speculative Design, RtD, Design Fiction) are key sources of variation, deliberately introducing novel possibilities and critiques." It is also named among the methods used to project into the future: "or strategically project scenarios into the Future (using methods like Scenario Planning or Design Fiction), all this cognitive and creative work occurs irrevocably within the fleeting moment of the present."
